So winter has come and with it the snow. We've take the opportunity twice now to take a dip in the snow. It goes without saying that Taylor, true to his winter roots, still loves the snow however his sister, not so much. He stayed outside building his statue Transformers and carving out his snow caves and even making some snow angels.
True to her summer roots, my princess does not like to be cold. Her distaste for the snow was almost instant upon stepping her heavily socked and snow-booted foot upon the freshly fallen white powder.
Since we haven't been able to spend too much time outside, we've been having fun inside making those classic homemade Christmas tree ornaments. Since painting is a favorite activity in our home, hot-gluing some popsicle sticks together into a star and getting out the paintbrushes seemed like just what the Christmas tree was in need of.
Add a touch of glitter to some painted pinecones and our Christmas tree ornaments are complete.
Its a good thing we got the tree up early and have been enjoying it, since we will be spending Christmas in Cedar City, UT! :)
