So as soon as Chris got home, almost as soon as he stepped off the plane, we headed to our favorite destination in Denver...The ZOO! Taylor had been avidly talking about "seeing the animals with Daddy," all week so I'd been promising a visit as soon as daddy got home. We headed out today and it was the most gorgeous weather we've had for a whole month, February couldn't have been drearier. We got there about 10:15 and the animals were out enjoying the sun. Taylor was not in the best of moods and really just wanted to mosey along at his own pace and each time he was told to pick it up a little, he replied with "NO! want to see the elephants." Everything ended well with some PB&J for lunch, a good 15 minutes at the pachyderm house, and then ending with snakes and lizards, Taylor's new favorite animals.

So envious - wish we had a zoo. Looks like fun. In other news, how are you feeling? You should post a pic of the mom-of-two-to-be as well as an update on baby prep progress for little miss Burt. We're missing out on all the fun (if you can call pregnancy fun). Love ya!

It's not Taylor that loves the zoo, it's you. And why does your face still look so thin? Aren't you supposed to be very prego right now. Come see us in SLC, I'll bribe you with a trip to our zoo...super duper fun.
