Chris' Birthday Extravaganza

So, for Chris' birthday, besides partying hard at home with cookie cake, we all went to the zoo to party there. We thought Taylor would be more interested in the animals now that he's slightly older or would at least love being outside and free to run around, sort-of. He lasted about 15 minutes in the wagon that we rented and when he wasn't running after the 4,000 peacocks that were actively searching for mates, he only wanted Chris to hold him. Despite the fact that we overdressed in long pants and jackets for 75 degree weather and Taylor being less than cooperative, we all had a good time and were even able to snag some cute pics of the adventure. Take a look at our son the duck whisperer.

We have two baby giraffes at the zoo and both are now out for the public to see.

Looks like fun. I wish we had a zoo. Happy belated bday to Chris - Andy's supposed to be mailing his gift today (the gift that we've had sitting on the kitchen counter for two weeks now).

You two crazy cats went to the zoo eh? Can't wait to see the pics from your own wild and wooly birthday bash. Does Chris know you lied when you told him the zoo was for him? That it was really for you and your zoologist self that you made that his birthday destination? Just checking. Happy Birthday Chris!! What a fun little family you guys are. Better give Taylor a sibling now, so he doesn't develop imaginary friends like Wyatt did at that age.
